Snow in Spain

Hey everybody. I know it's been a while since my last post and it feels as if much has happened between now and then.
I'm still pissed off at the hackers but at least I managed to get the site back up and running, though it has yet to return to its former glory.
It has however made me think a little bit about the songs I had put up in the audio player. It got me listening to some old tunes and before I knew it I was making a list, the Bryan vP 'Album' cut. Not to be taken too seriously, though it was an eye-opening experience, listening to old songs and realizing that some old songs will always be far better than new ones, no matter how poorly they were recorded or which technique I hadn't grasped yet. I decided that I would re-record some of these songs and keep them in 'rotation' as far as set lists go. Yups, plenty of stuff to do in 2010.

I also started on a list of New Year's Resolutions, har har har, let's see if I can keep up and stay true to these promises.
I think I'll post em here too, as soon as I'm done with the 'final draft' lol. As y'all know, I have submitted a demo to the Grote Prijs van Zuid-Holland competition for singer/songwriters. The hackers took out my site just days after I enrolled so I reallllllllly hope the jury people didn't decide to have a look at my site during these past days (otherwise I'd really stab the hacker if I ever get to meet him) lol.

On a lighter note, I have finally started adding songs again to the player. This one is from a live gig I did right here in Salamanca, Spain. It's a song I wrote while living here and it's called In Your Arms. It's one of those songs that sounds so simple, yet means so much and I really like it. Go ahead and listen to it and I'm sure you'll like it too. Meanwhile Salamanca has become really cold and it has also snowed, though 4 days from now I will be back in Rotterdam in my own bed, for a 3 week vacation. It might be even colder there, but who cares!
